HOW TO DONATE

Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired depends upon the generosity of the community for financial support. Since 1911, our community has demonstrated its concern for the quality of life for people who are blind or visually impaired with its donations of time and dollars. Today, with an increase in the number of people who are visually impaired, it takes even more financial support for CABVI to assist more than 5,100 persons annually. We are grateful to our community for this enduring commitment!

As a private, not-for-profit organization, CABVI is not a state or federal agency and does not directly receive tax dollars. Support for our rehabilitation services typically comes from annual campaign gifts, fees and third-party payments, bequests, endowment income, and United Way.

Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired has a history of excellent service to our community. In order to continue providing professional, individualized, vision rehabilitation services, CABVI needs vital funding support to meet the growing needs for the present and in the future.

Planned gifts include bequests in a will, charitable trusts, charitable annuities or gifts, bequests of life insurance, or retirement plan assets. Planned gifts may provide income and estate tax benefits to the donor. Your attorney, banker, accountant, insurance agent or financial planner can advise and help with arrangements.
