Join us for an unforgettable STEM experience for students who are blind or visually impaired!

Thanks to a generous donation from General Motors (GM), students who are blind or visually impaired across the country are gaining the nonvisual tools and techniques they need to pursue their dreams in STEM education and careers. Now, it’s your turn!

The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) invites you to an exciting, hands-on day of discovery—designed just for blind and low-vision youth.

This year’s focus: the Scientific Method!
Students will participate in accessible, hands-on experiments using observation, prediction, and testing to tackle real-world problems. Get ready to explore the wonders of physics, technology, chemistry, and engineering in a way that’s engaging, empowering, and fun.

Friday, July 25, 2025 | 10AM – 2PM

At CABVI
2045 Gilbert Ave
Cincinnati, OH 45202

Free for all registered blind and low-vision youth (K-12).

This is an opportunity for students who are visually impaired to build confidence, sharpen their scientific skills, and imagine a future filled with possibilities.

  • Blind Role Models to inspire and guide.
  • Accessible Experiments designed with nonvisual techniques.
  • Hands-on Instruction to build practical STEM skills.

Plus: Parent’s Club | 10AM to 12PM
While students are busy exploring STEM, parents are invited to relax upstairs in our Parent’s Club gathering. Meet other parents of blind children, learn about valuable resources, and connect with blind leaders from the National Federation of the Blind. It’s a casual, no-stress time to support one another and empower your child’s growth!
