Leadership Team
Teri Shirk became President/CEO in March 2021. Shirk was previously the Vice President of Program Services at Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley, providing strategic direction, vision, and administrative oversight for a $12 million program services division within a $50 million local nonprofit. With 30 years of experience in nonprofit management, Shirk has also held progressively responsible leadership positions with Clovernook Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired, Miami Valley Industries, and the Alzheimer’s Association. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
Aaron Bley joined CABVI in December 2016. Bley was previously the Senior Corporate Relationship Officer at American Red Cross, Cincinnati-Dayton Region. He also served as the Regional Director for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and worked in a variety of community affairs positions with Mercy Health Partners. Bley earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Xavier University and his master’s degree in Communication from the University of Cincinnati.
Monica Braddock, Chief Financial Officer, joined CABVI in May 2022. With more than 20 years of finance experience, Braddock began as an auditor with Grant Thornton. She worked with LNS America, Inc for 16 years and was CFO in the most recent 10 years. Her experience includes providing financial oversight in a diverse industry, as well as her experience as a CPA and managing ERP implementation. Braddock and her family live in Anderson Township. Braddock earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from Miami University.
Jennifer Alvis joined CABVI in November 2022. Alvis brings many years of experience in non-profit environments including time with Clovernook Center, National Industries for the Blind (NIB), and most recently Camp Joy where she served as the Business Operations Director. Jennifer’s experience working in blindness related agencies and in particular her knowledge of NIB, AbilityOne, and federal/State contracting, will help CABVI’s Social Enterprises continue to grow, expanding employment opportunities. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Education and Human Services from Antioch University and her master's degree from Antioch University.
Kim McNeer, Vice President of Human Resources, joined CABVI in May 2022. McNeer brings 20 years of HR experience, most recently at Hillman Fastener, Milacron, and Omnicare. Her experience includes providing HR oversight in diverse industries, as well as managing DE&I efforts, culture change, and geographically dispersed employees. McNeer holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations and a master’s degree in business administration from West Virginia University.
Brad Netherton, Vice President Manufacturing joined CABVI in August 2024. With 15 years of experience in manufacturing, he brings strong expertise in the areas of continuous improvement, quality, strategic planning and new product roll out. Netherton previously worked at Segepo, Luminex Shared Services, Core Molding Technologies, and Commercial Vehicle Group. He has a bachelor’s degree of Arts from Ohio State University.
