Through the National Industries for the Blind’s AbilityOne® Program, CABVI provides employment for people with vision loss in Contract Management Support (CMS) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH and at the Marine Headquarters in Quantico, VA. Our CMS employees use advanced screen-reading software, closed-circuit TVs (CCTV) and ZoomText technology to ensure government contracts are completed correctly and on time.
Examples of services provided by the CMS program include:
- Research and analysis to ensure all requirements for closing contracts are complete. They present “ready-to-close” contracts to government contracting officers.
- Contract closeout document preparation
- Contract document imaging and indexing
