CABVI’s Dining in the Dark is just 3 DAYS AWAY. Here’s some important details about this upcoming event:

Date: Saturday, November 12, 2022
Time: 6 – 10 PM. (Check-in begins at 5:30 PM)
Location: Hard Rock Casino Event Center (1000 Broadway, Cincinnati, OH 45202)

  • Once inside the casino, take the escalator or elevator to Banquet Level 2 and follow the welcome signs to our check-in station.
  • Parking: There is free parking in the casino’s parking garage, or you can pay for valet parking.

Attire: The theme is Superheroes Unite! Some guests will choose to come dressed to the theme while others dress in their semi formal best. Cocktail dresses and collared shirts are recommended, but ties are not required. Dress to the theme and win one of three prizes for Best Superhero Costume!

You will not receive a physical ticket to this event, instead you are on a guest list.

  • If you do not seem to be on the list at check in, try using the person you are attending withs name. If we did not receive a guest’s name from the sponsor who purchased the ticket, you may be listed as “John Smith” and “John Smith guest”.

This year’s event uses Greater Giving for our online auction, allowing for a paperless bidding experience. We encourage all guests to pre-register prior to the event for a seamless check-in. In addition, by pre-registering, you’ll be ready to easily participate in our:

  • Online raffles
  • Live auction
  • Superhero game
  • Signature cocktail
  • Paddle raise
  • Make a donation

Step-by-Step Pre-registration Instructions

If you have not participated in online bidding with Greater Giving in the past, click on the green button that say Create an Account. If you already have an account with Greater Giving, sign in with your previous Username and Password

Enter your email address. Confirm your email address.
Check that you are not a robot.
There may be a visual test, to identify items in photos, like crosswalks or stop signs, etc.
Then click Confirm.

An email like will be sent to your email
Click on the link. It is valid for one hour.
This email will allow you to Set or Reset your own password for your Greater Giving login.
Click on Reset.

Write down your password, remember that it is case sensitive.
Type in your password. Then retype the password.
You will get a message that your password was successfully Reset.
Return to the Login page.

To finish your registration:
Click on Sign in with your email address as the Username and your New Password.
Then fill in your contact information and credit card information.
If you have used Greater Giving before, some information may already be there.
Then click create.
You will be taken to a page that says Auction is Open and has a green circle with a gavel in it.
Click on the gavel to be taken to the Welcome Screen.
