Free Assistive Technology Event for Eligible Veterans

This collaborative initiative by Meta, Blinded Veterans Association (BVA), and CABVI is bringing cutting-edge technology directly to eligible veterans to support greater independence, mobility, and connectivity in daily life.

Connected to a smartphone, Meta AI Glasses can describe what is in front of you, read text aloud, and provide information about your surroundings.

Eligible veterans are invited to discover how Meta AI Glasses can support everyday tasks and greater independence. Participants will receive hands-on training to help them feel comfortable using this technology.

Who Is Eligible?

This program is available to veterans who are legally blind or have significant vision loss. Vision loss does not need to be service-connected. Standard prescription eyeglasses alone do not qualify for the program.

Eligible participants will receive Meta AI Glasses at no cost, along with hands-on training. To participate, veterans must have a compatible smartphone with the required app downloaded and signed in before attending.
